My submission for a weekly 'Art Challenge' I help host in a forum. This week I got to pick what we did, and I kept it simple, being a drawing that somehow fit the title 'Snow Chocolate.' We do alll sorts of stuff, but its honestly me and two or three others. We'd do more ambitious things with more of course~ There's hope.

Humm, what to say about this technically?
I went with a dark blue brush for the linework, because, heck, winter is cold. The whole thing was a pleasure to work on, though I coulda spent so much more time on it. Though not much more I can do working directly off the sketch, but he's there with some hot chocolate from a thermos, sitting around in what I hope is noticable as a park (not really, not enough background space~). She's lookin' lazy, the linework being lazy hopefully further compliments that. Coulda shaded harder on her sleeves though!

EDIT:
This' the 2nd version now, a few things have been pointed out to me, but the one I didn't really click in with right away...was that her head wasn't tall enough. SO I revised it, but I've been out of the 'mood' for hours so I compltely fumbled getting back into the groove. Put that shadow on the sleeve like I wanted. Someone said her mouth was a bit low. But it makes her more relaxed that way. I didn't do it on purpose, but sometimes some skewed facial anatomy adds extra character. We usually save it for villians, but I think she's got it going good.
